Doug Bunker is the glue that holds River City Staffing together. He joined the company in 2001, bringing with him the experience he gained as a Regional Sales Manager for an industrial products company. His background fostered a belief in giving customers more than they expect, a value he’s worked to integrate into River City Staffing.

As the Chief Financial Officer for River City Staffing, Doug manages the administrative side of the house. He has put the procedures and policies in place that make the company easy to do business with. Whether he’s working with Clients on billing inquiries or ensuring the company’s payroll runs smoothly, Doug has a great ability for bringing people together to work towards a common goal.

Other principles that guide Doug’s management of the back office are accountability and accessibility. With Doug, the “buck stops here.” His Clients and Employees know that if they bring him an issue, he’ll solve it. He also believes in the importance of an accessible management team, and promotes their close involvement in daily operations. It is Doug’s focus on the details for customer service excellence that have made River City Staffing the firm of choice for the greater Sacramento area.  

When Doug is away from the office, he enjoys spending time with his wife Cindy and their two young children. He likes taking them to the mountains, the lake, or spending time together pursuing outdoor activities. He also likes working on his two project cars, older models that require creativity in tracking down parts.

Whether at work or at home, Doug thrives on making sure all of the pieces fit together perfectly.
