A representative from River City Staffing contacted me during my job search amidst the pandemic. While the nation was suffering uncertainty in job security, the staff at River City was able to secure me a temp to perm position within a reputable company in the real estate industry (my focus). This position resulted in a permanent hire, and I am beyond grateful for the efforts of the River City team! River City is a sparkling diamond in the rough when viewed across the board of any other agency I’ve ever worked with in my career. Their communication and truth seeking as to what you are looking for in a position (career building, culture, salary) really speaks to their ability to find you a solid fit and a place to plant your feet. I’d found myself turning down opportunities they had on the table because they didn’t meet with my needs (industry, salary), and had pretty much written them off thinking they wouldn’t be contacting me again, but not a few days later they would contact me with something that fit along the lines of what I was looking for! The difference here, is that they listen and they care about what they do. You are not a collection of experiences on a piece of paper placed in a bidding war for a commission, these are real people that want to help real people find a job that provides longevity, happiness, security – the big picture! Did I mention they care? I would recommend River City Staffing to anyone looking for a strong position to sink their teeth into. Maria, Mary, Samantha, Renee, team, and Cindy (the CEO personally came to my office to congratulate me for the permanent hire!) have all left a lasting impression in my book as far as staffing agencies go. I no longer think of staffing agencies as a stop along the way, but a viable beacon with a light that never goes out.
